I foresee a uniting of both medicines to help deal with a society's health which has changed very rapidly over the last 100 years from acute disease to more chronic diseases. Western medicine is finding it more and more challenging to keep the consumer/patient content and I feel TCM can fill in a much needed gap in today's medicine. In an ideal world there will be a melding of the two medicines so that the patient will have optimal health.
